Stores Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stores & Purchasing Assistant to support our inventory and procurement operations. This role is critical in ensuring optimal stock levels, efficient purchasing processes, and smooth coordination between suppliers and internal departments.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Process purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory movements and supplier information.
- Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity, and resolve discrepancies where necessary.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast stock requirements and avoid shortages.
Must Have
- Strictly a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
- At least 1+ years’ experience in inventory management, procurement, or a related role.
- Must currently reside in Harare
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
